Volleyball games & Such

Over the last week, we have had so many "highs" and things to be thankful for!  This week was the first official "GIRLS' NIGHT" at our aprtment.  Every Wednesday from here-on-out is forever going to be called GIRLS NIGHT.  This involves alot of munchies, good chats and an ALIAS episode.  For our first night I think we had about 20 girls show up!  It was so fun and I can't wait until next week to have another one : )

Last night, we went to our first TMC volleyball game and our girls won!! They did so well and we are super proud of them.   After, the game we had a "last-minute" movie night (which involved a lot of "schnacks") at our place and got to hang out with some other students too- it was so encouraging and we are discovering that we LOVE to have people in our home!

Did I mention that I am in a class called CERT?  All new RDs have to take it- it's so we can be prepared in the case of a major disaster, emergency, or accident.  Last week learned all about fire safety.  Would yuou like to see a picture? I now know how to put out a small fire : ) Scary, I know.

This has been a great week and I am so thankful for this job and the people I get to serve with.  I see the Lord's kindness in so many aspects of this job.  It's humbling and wonderful- we love it and wouldn't have it any other way!
